Matyas Pavlik & Special Guest Yana Unzhakova

Matyas Pavlik is regarded as one of the most distinctive voices of a new, internationally influenced generation of glass sculptors. Raised in the USA, Mexico, and Portugal, he eventually returned to his native Czech Republic — a geographical and cultural arc that has decisively shaped his artistic language. This return allowed him to deeply internalize the Czech glass heritage and translate modern formal elements into his conceptual works using traditional techniques. The artist combines geometric clarity with organic tension. His sculptures, created through a lengthy and technically challenging process, achieve a subtle balance of color, texture, and spatial presence.
