Duration of the exhibition: Spring 2000 – Dear friends of Czech glass art, the 20th century was a period which was considerably marked by the material glass (e.g. architecture, science and technology). Considering this whole connection it is quite understandable that this material also found its artistic direction. The merit of the glass art’s development belongs among others especially to the Czech glass art.

I hope that for the year 2000 – and thus of course involving the forthcoming century – the circle of those individualists who collect and love glass art will grow considerably. The young Czech glass artist Martin Velisek designed the greetings for the Year 2000 for my glass gallery.

For this entire year he will create my gallery’s advertisements for the glass magazine “New Glass”, which will also be shown on my web pages.
