Whereby we are talking here about a development the meaning of which will not be recognised and valued until much later.
You represent a large number of important Czech glass artists to whom you are not only committed, but whose works you must make more accessible to the public, at least that must be your claim. What difficulties have you come up against over the years?
I see my contribution to be that I only present the work of the best artists, that I try to help the observer to approach more closely the artistic direction which is glass, Czech glass art, and thereby to come to an understanding of the individual artists and their development.

This I succeed in doing through regular exhibitions in my glass gallery and through exhibitions which I organise throughout the world or in which I participate with the works of the Czech glass artists. Coming to terms with the works of art themselves is a very individual, personal affair.
I have never had any difficulty carrying out this wonderful task: such difficulties lie rather in the technical field, which, as I had to learn, are also part of the work of a gallery owner.
It is natural that your commitment has to prove economically viable, for the artistsjust as much for the gallery owner. In the face of such a struggle, does any time remain for content, confrontation or for the encouragement of younger artists?
